Weymouth Asda Team Steps Up for Tickled Pink’s 30th Anniversary
On Thursday 7th May, colleagues from Asda stores across the region will be lacing up their walking shoes for a meaningful cause — and the Weymouth team will be right at the heart of it.
Representing the Asda Weymouth store, General Store Manager Wayne, Area Manager Tom, and colleague Becca will take on a 15-mile sponsored walk alongside fellow Asda colleagues. The route will begin at the Asda Bournemouth store, continue via the Asda Castlepoint store, and finish at the Asda Poole store.
This inspiring challenge is all in aid of Tickled Pink, Asda’s long-standing charity initiative supporting breast cancer causes. This year is especially significant as Tickled Pink celebrates its 30th anniversary — three decades of raising vital funds and awareness to support those affected by breast cancer.
The Weymouth team’s participation reflects not only their commitment to the community but also their determination to make a real difference. Every step of the 15-mile journey will help raise funds that go towards life-saving research, support services, and awareness campaigns.
In addition to the walk, there will be in-store fundraising activities taking place at Asda Weymouth on the same day. Customers are warmly encouraged to get involved, show their support, and contribute whatever they can to this incredible cause.
Whether it’s cheering on the walkers, making a donation, or taking part in the in-store fundraising, every bit of support helps. Together, the community can help celebrate 30 years of Tickled Pink and continue the fight against breast cancer.
