Police investigating a reported racially aggravated incident at Poole Retail Park are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man as enquiries continue.

The incident was reported to have happened at around 10.30am on Sunday 14 June 2026 at Poole Retail Park in Redlands, where a member of staff was allegedly subjected to racial abuse by another man.

It is further reported that the man made threats of violence towards the victim before being escorted away from the premises.

Thankfully, no injuries were sustained during the incident.

As part of their ongoing investigation, Dorset Police have now released an image of a man they would like to identify and speak to in connection with the incident.

Police Constable Matthew Wilks, of Dorset Police, said:

“Dorset Police takes all reports of hate crime very seriously and we are continuing to carry out enquiries into this matter.

“We are now in a position to issue an image of a man we would like to identify as part of our investigation. I would urge anyone with information relating to his identity to please get in touch.”
