Easter Appeal a Resounding Success
The spirit of community was on full display today as the Artisan Island and Tide Times Easter Appeal delivered a heartwarming boost to local families.
Earlier today, Weymouth Foodbank gratefully received two boxes of Easter eggs alongside a generous collection of additional chocolate donations gathered at Artisan Island. The colourful haul of treats will be distributed to families across the area, helping ensure that children in the community can enjoy a brighter, more joyful Easter.
The appeal once again highlighted the power of small acts of kindness coming together to create something meaningful. Every donation—whether large or small—will have a real and immediate impact on local households.
Organisers have extended their sincere thanks to everyone who contributed, praising the community’s generosity and willingness to support others. Special recognition also goes to Able Cabs, whose additional donations reflect a business deeply committed to giving back.
With the success of this year’s appeal, the message is clear: when a community pulls together, it can make a genuine difference where it matters most.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter.
