Two Men Charged Following Coordinated Drug Warrants in Ferndown

Two men have been charged and are due to appear in court after police carried out coordinated drug raids in the Ferndown area.

Officers from Dorset Police executed two warrants on the morning of Friday 10 April 2026 at adjoining addresses along Ringwood Road in Longham, near Ferndown. The operation was led by the local neighbourhood policing team and supported by the Force Support Group (FSG).

The warrants, carried out under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, resulted in the discovery of 112 suspected cannabis plants, along with additional quantities of suspected cannabis inside the properties.

Two men were arrested at the scene. They have since been charged with being concerned in the supply and production of a Class B drug. The suspects—a 38-year-old man from Bournemouth and a 27-year-old man from Ferndown—are scheduled to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 April 2026.

The investigation is now being led by Dorset County CID.

Detective Inspector Rich Barnett, of Dorset County CID, emphasized the force’s ongoing commitment to tackling drug-related crime. He stated that officers rely heavily on information provided by the public and encouraged anyone with knowledge of suspected drug activity to come forward.

Members of the public can report information online via the Dorset Police website or by calling 101. In emergencies or if a crime is in progress, the public is urged to dial 999.
