Online Child Protection Team Confronts Man in Stalbridge Live Stream

An online child protection group, UK Database, attended a property in Stalbridge today on behalf of Fleetwood Enforcers UK to confront a 36-year-old man during a live-streamed encounter.

The full 46-minute and 33-second exchange was broadcast live on Facebook, drawing significant online attention.

During the stream, the team stated they were there to address allegations that the man, identified during the broadcast as Lee Stopford, had groomed a 14-year-old girl and requested inappropriate images from her.

When asked, “Do you know why we are here?”, the man replied, “Possible.”

He confirmed that he recognised the 14-year-old and said he had started communicating with her last year but had stopped for “a month or so.” When questioned about the pause in contact, he responded, “I don’t like doing it.”

At another point in the livestream, he stated: “I know it’s wrong.”

The group alleged that he had told the girl it was “normal for girls your age to sell pictures,” which they claimed was an attempt to normalise his behaviour. When asked whether he had carried out inappropriate online searches, he responded: “Maybe once or twice.”

Approximately 43 minutes into the broadcast, officers from Dorset Police arrived at the address and arrested the man on suspicion of offences relating to online communication with a minor.

The incident took place in Dorset.

At the time of publication, formal charges had not been confirmed. We have contacted Dorset Police for an official statement.
