Police appeal to identify man following reported sexual assaults in Weymouth

Officers investigating reports of sexual assault in Weymouth have released an image of a man they would like to identify.

Dorset Police said the incident involves a woman in her 30s who was staying in the town between Sunday 3 August and Monday 4 August 2025. During that time, she spent several hours in the company of a man she only knew by his first name.

It was reported that the man sexually assaulted her on a number of occasions while she was in Weymouth.

Police Constable Alex Constantine, of Weymouth police, said enquiries have been ongoing since the report was made.

“We have been carrying out a full investigation into this incident and have explored a number of lines of enquiry to identify the man reported to be involved,” he said.
“I am now issuing an image of a man we would like to identify and would urge anyone who recognises him to please come forward.”

Officers are urging members of the public to come forward if they recognise the man in the image or have any information that could assist the investigation.
