Witness and Dashcam Appeal Following Fail-to-Stop Collision in Dorchester
Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fail-to-stop collision involving a motorbike and a car in Dorchester.
At approximately 8:30pm on Saturday, 7 March 2026, a collision occurred on A37 Long Ash Lane involving a grey Yamaha motorbike and a car. It is reported that the driver of the car failed to stop at the scene after the incident.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, sustained a minor leg injury as a result of the collision.
Police Constable Christina Macken, from Dorchester police, urged the public to assist with the ongoing investigation:
“We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am really keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help our investigation. Additionally, I would like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area on the evening of Saturday, 7 March, and may have captured anything relevant on their dashcam footage.”
